Wardrobe Supervisor and Assistant Costume Designer for The Factory, April 2013

This past April I had the pleasure to help out on “The Factory,” a feature horror film that takes place in a renovated garment sweatshop (based on the events of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire). It shot for the entirety of April in Brooklyn, NY. It’s been generating some buzz as it wraps up its final stages in post-production, see here:
You should also check out its Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/FactoryFeature for updates!
First Makeup Test for The Living Seas (of the Epcot The Land/The Living Seas design by my friend and Disney sistah Morgan Ditta).
Morgan is currently an Imagineer for Disney but she is also a longtime friend. She styled the beautiful wig that I’m wearing. We’ve cosplayed from Dreamworks’ How to Train Your Dragon together, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn from Batman Brave and the Bold
and I was even the Drizella to her Anastasia (even if just in photo form!).
This was from her D40 project where she designed 28 original costumes for Walt Disney World, as well as floats! You should check it out here. ALSO please check out her super awesome Tumblr where she posts amazing art. <3

So far this has been my favorite film I had the pleasure of working on. A candy-pastel palette mixed with late 50’s/early 60’s fashion all infused with a culture very close to my heart. I made so many friends working on this show who I still see (and now even work with!). I’m crossing my fingers for a very successful festival run for this, because Gabby deserves it.
